Built from the ground up for enhanced security and reliability, the Home Audio app is positioned as a leading solution for comprehensive control of each zone in the HTD whole-house audio system. It supports compatibility with key HTD central controllers including Lync 6, Lync 12, MC-66, and MCA-66.

Initial Connection: The app seamlessly detects most Wi-Fi networks for quick setup, allowing users to begin using the application within minutes. In cases where automatic detection is impeded by router configurations, a simple manual connection process is readily available.

View and Control: Through the Home Audio app, users can oversee and manage all zones from a centralized system status page or delve into individual zones for more intricate control. Adjust volume settings using either a scroll wheel or slide control, mute/un-mute all zones, power off all zones simultaneously, or power them on to previous states or a common source via party mode.

Customization Features: Tailor zone and source names for both the app and keypads, fine-tune treble, bass, and balance settings for each zone, customize visibility of zones and sources within the app, and selectively conceal sources from displaying on LyncPads and LyncTouch keypads for Lync 6v3 and Lync 12v3.

Zone Groups: Easily establish groups of zones for unified sources, consistent volume levels, or relative volume adjustments across multiple zones.

Presets: Implement presets to configure multiple zones with predefined settings using a single action per scene to control power status, sources, volumes, and Do Not Disturb functionality (exclusively available in Lync systems).

App Shortcuts: Enhance user experience by adding shortcuts from over 40 popular music and audio apps for seamless navigation between the Home Audio app and preferred audio services. User Restrictions: Safeguard custom settings on specific devices to provide controlled access for children and guests.

Backup and Restore Functionality: Streamline setup processes by creating account profiles to back up settings securely on the cloud for quick restoration on other devices. Individual device configurations can also be saved uniquely by backing up under a distinct phone number.

Note Regarding Transition: Existing HTD Lync or MC app users will experience profile data loss due to the implementation of an improved cloud backup system in the Home Audio app. While source names will be retained from stored keypad data, recreating groups and presets within this application will be necessary. We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this initial transition.

The Home Audio app supports portrait mode on smaller screens and both portrait and landscape modes on larger displays.

The HTD whole-house audio system seamlessly integrates with various audio devices as sources. As user preferences evolve over time, the system adapts accordingly.
